La Sierra University Department of Music presents a concert version of Donizetti's "The Elixir of Love" on Sunday, May 17 at 7 pm, in Hole Memorial Auditorium.

“The Elixir of Love is one of the most frequently performed of all Donizetti's operas,” says Raejin Lee, Director of Vocal Studies for the La Sierra University Department of Music. “Though performed in Italian, the performance will feature projected English translations of the lyrics, so all can follow the storyline.”

The program features:
Kevin St. Clair as Nemorino
Raejin Lee as Adina
Aram Barsamian as Belcore
Sangmin Park at Dr. Dulcamara
Rachel Hechanova as Giannetta.
The La Sierra University Chamber Singers ensemble will take on the roles of peasants and soldiers.
Daniel Cummings will conduct the La Sierra University Orchestra.

Tickets will be available at the door, and cost $10 for general admission, and $5 for faculty, staff and students.
